When I first made an appointment with them I had asked to see engagement rings in different styles, when I got there I saw their collection of antique engagement rings (the largest and more diverse I have seen so far) and was overwhelmed by it. However, with the appointment I had made I requested 5 rings to see. They showed me the 5 rings and many other rings that were not in my request but were similar in style, price range and carat weight. After seeing many rings I finally found THE ONE, I then told my bf about it and then he got in contact with Israel Rose to purchase it. The whole experience was wonderful and they could not have been more professional, to the point yes, but also very pleasant. Shopping at Gloria's was an awesome experience. I walked into the store with an open mind and Sandy (the owner) was more than helpful. She did an excellent job having me purchase the diamond with ""MY"" eye. I told her the size stone I wanted and she placed a couple on the table that were in my range. I looked at them and picked out the one that caught my eye. It wasnВ’t until I picked out the diamond that she took out the diamond price book Rapaport and calculated the price right in front of me. Her prices were very nice compared some other jewelers I had looked. NOTE: Not knowing the price ahead of time may scare some of you. However, Sandy never once pressured me and I didnВ’t feel bad at all telling her it was out of my price range. She would simple say, В“That is okВ” and pull a few more stones. Upon picking the stone I asked if I could see a few others in similar sizes (I wanted to see if I could tell the difference between stones that were very close in size. Little note: I could see the difference when laying on table right next to each other. However, I could tell when they were in a setting.) Sandy was more than happy to show me different stones. IВ’m glad I asked to see different sizes as this is when Sandy pulled out a stone that I just had to have. This diamond was beautiful and fit what I was looking for perfectly. I had Sandy run the price and I was once again shocked at how great of price she was quoting me. (I should remind you that I didnВ’t know what the cert was on this stone, I just saw it and it was beautiful and I wanted it) I really liked Sandy's approach. She told me to look at the diamond with my eye and then select one. Upon selecting a stone she would then calculate the price. If I felt the price was more than I was willing to pay she would say, ""That is fine, we can look at some others."" I loved this, there was no pressure put on me. I felt SandyВ’s approach to selling me a diamond was outstanding. I found that so often when I was in other stores they were more interested in selling me a certificate than a diamond. As far as I'm concerned my fianc?' will not be wearing the certificate on her finger, just a beautiful, wonderfully priced diamond, I purchased at GloriaВ’s. My personal advice after doing a fair amount of research and some shopping: DonВ’t be stuck on one particular size, say 1.00 carat. In the times I spent looking there was noticeable difference, when in a setting, between a .90 -1.00 carat. Next, keep your options open on the color you donВ’t need, unless itВ’s for personal satisfaction a D-color, G, H, & I are very good choices. When it comes to cut (45% of the value, as I was told be 3 different places) look for a very good to ideal cut stone. In regards to clarity, SI1 and above should be eye clean. You be the judge look at the diamond. Finally, I would recommend using the jeweler. They have looked at more diamonds then most of us will ever look at. I took the following approach. I wanted a diamond that wasnВ’t yellow, one that I could see inclusions in, and one that catches my eye. IВ’m sure glad I found Sandy at GloriaВ’s. It was an amazing experience. THE PAWN SHOP NEXT DOOR PAYS A BETTER PERCENTAGE FOR PRECIOUS METALS AND ARE MORE HONEST THAN THESE GUYS ARE. ANY PAWN SHOP PAYS MORE OR AT LEAST AS MUCH. I went to the Jewelry buyer because I was not happy with the price I was offered by the Lending Club where I had been doing business for years scraping gold and silver. I brought in an ounce of 14k scrap gold jewelry to test them out. The guy said two of my pieces were 10k even though they were clearly stamped 14k and had tested them myself before I bought them. They offered me 72%, even less than the Lending Club did. When I told the guy that I could get more for pawning my jewelry, no matter how much I brought them, and would have the chance to rebuy what I pawned within the next 90 days if the price went up enough to be worth it he kicked me out of the store while ranting that whoever would offer me more was doing illegal business and he would not do illegal business.

Hello Adam, You might not remember me, but I remember you. When I was 17 years old you commissioned me to do a painting for you. I spent a painstaking amount of time on a very large canvas for you. It was an exquisite piece. We agreed you would pay me when the work was complete. When I brought the finished work to your store, you weren't there, but I left it, because I trusted you. A few days later I returned only for you to tell me my painting was "disgraceful" and that it offended you. I apologized and was devastated, but these things happen and I accepted it. I asked to take my painting home, and you told me it was yours. You said you "would never be able to get rid of it", because of its despicable nature. I begged for my work, at 17, and you sent me away. I cried and cried. A few years later, I was pregnant, watching TV 13, and who do I see but YOU! I grabbed the remote to change the channel but before I could, there it was, my painting. You did the ENTIRE interview with it behind you. My despicable work. I sent my mother to your shop to investigate, and my work had a price tag of $2500 on it. YOU SIR, are disgraceful, a thief and an overall bad person.
