We have been under a RENOVATION on the property since May 2014. Every unit is and has been under a renovation. Every unit will have bran new black appliances with ice makers, granite counters, all new cabinets, sink bowls in all bathrooms, new faucets and new light fixtures. It is and will be BEAUTIFUL. The community is very friendly and enjoyable. I haven't met a neighbor who wasn't kind and considerate. The location is quite convenient for easily reaching many parts of town. They also offer the simplicity of paying for basic cable, water, pest, and renter's insurance all in one payment. However, these few bright spots are far outweighed by the bad. The biggest issue is that maintenance is slow, low quality, and frustrating. From the moment I moved in there was pre-existing damage (holes in doors, cabinets missing large chunks of laminate, the included dryer was non-functional, etc.). Trying to get maintenance to repair these has been nearly impossible. It took two attempts for the dryer to be properly repaired, and the work orders to repair the doors were closed without any work being done. Additionally, despite being told I would not be required to pay for repairs to pre-existing damage before signing my lease, after signing my lease I was told that was no longer the case because I was being too particular. I wouldn't call not wanting holes in my doors too particular. Through these maintenance issues actually getting ahold of maintenance is also too difficult. IВ’ve had maintenance work orders sit for over two weeks with no contact ever being made with me. Nearly every work order has taken multiple calls and requests before any work was done. Even worse IВ’ve had work orders closed stating no damage was found, but I would think a 2-inch hole in a door is pretty obvious. On top of all my difficulties with maintenance, the cleanliness of the apartment at time of move in was also severely disappointing. I had to bleach the linoleum floors and shampoo the carpets at my own expense just to remove the disgusting stains and stickiness. Overall this has been my worst renting experience, and I would recommend anyone looking to live in this area look somewhere else.

About a year and a half ago, this apartment complex was bought out by a new management company. A lot of the older (good) reviews were written before that time.The new company is the absolute WORST. My experience, the leasing agents will say anything to get your signature on a lease. Good luck getting the office management to honor anything said by a leasing agent. The apartment does not have a true W/D hookup in that it only has one electrical outlet. That means you cannot use full size appliances with a stacking kit. I would not recommend a first floor of this apartment for dog owners. We had some trouble with unsupervised kids coming and terrorizing our dog by banging on our patio door while we were gone. (we caught them three times.) There is no overhead lighting in the living room or bedroom. There is only one dumpster (to my knowledge) and it seemed to ALWAYS be broken.
