Because this gives the impression that the alarm system is faulty, reading door open when no door is open. They try to cover themselves by this statement and I quote ""certain vehicles read this from factory settings and just have to live with it and/or it is an older vehicle and you have just noticed issue"". Everyone please understand that they are very dishonest and have a horrible installation practice. In truth the glob of solder at location they did would cause any and all vehicles to have this problem and factory settings play no factor. I have a lawsuit against company and if anyone has truly been through this please contact me as my attorney can add you to suit. I then relocated to NC, and after a heavy rain, I experienced a substantial leak(standing water in our car). When we took it into the Chevrolet dealership, they determined that the leak was absolutely caused by the installation of the rearview camera(they put this in writing). The location where the wires entered the car was not properly sealed. I had to pay nearly $800 in repairs, and I was without my vehicle for over a week(which cost an extra $500 in rental charges). I called Audio Arsenal to inform them of the problem, and I spoke to Greg(referred to as the owner by an associate) who was dismissive, and said he wanted proof. I immediately e-mailed him the receipts and statement from the dealership, as well as the phone number to the service technician (who said he would gladly tell Gregg what a poor install was done with the rearview camera). It has been two months now, and after several e-mails, phone calls(now Greg is never available), and inquiries on their website I have received no response back. I was only asking to recoup the damages and not the rental car fees, which I felt was a good compromise because ultimately everything still works great, and I have been very happy with the performance of the dvd player and the rearview camera. Now when I return to Watertown next week instead of visiting family and friends, I am going to have to take Greg to small claims court. I will be asking for the full amount of expense I incurred now for the inconvenience, which I know I will receive, with an ironclad statement from the dealership saying Audio Arsenal's install caused the problem(plus all of the my calls and e-mails documented). I just hate wasting time and energy on something like this, that could have been settled amicably if Greg was an honorable person, or a good business owner. So overall, their installs should perform well for you, but if you have any sort of problem, do not expect any service whatsoever(unless I am just being taken advantage of because he knows I live in a different state now). I would definetely discourage any active duty(I heard they opened up a shop on post too), as if you aren't in Watertown when a problem happens you will not be able to take them to court because that is the only way it looks like they will take you seriously."

We spoke to Buddy on the phone and he suggested that we should come in and sit down and explain our needs to them. At first I expected that they were only trying to get us through the door in order to pressure us to buy but that was not the case at all. In fact when we arrived we met the owner at the front door and he had Buddy come up and speak to us. Much to our suprise there was no pressure to buy what so ever. In fact I was shocked when he suggested that the television that we were considering was too large for our room and explained that we could purchase something smaller and use the extra money for another part of the system. The next day Buddy and Jay came out and looked at our house. They made sure that we could mount the television above out fireplace and that the cables could be routed back to a cabinet where the equipment would be located. I expected the cost was going to exceed our budget but I was wrong. Not only was the cost below what we had expected but they had added additional items such as a tilt mount television bracket and a programmable remote control that would operate all of our equipment with just the touch of a button. A few weeks later Buddy and Jay came out to perform the installation. The explained everthing they needed to do in detail and did a beautiful job with installing the equipment. The even installed our children's PS3 in to the system and afterwards explained how to operate all of the equipment. Before they left they cleaned up and offered to carry away the empty boxes. Several weeks in to using the equipment we had an issue with our cable box. We called Buddy and he came by the check everything out. He determined that the problem involved the signal strength and suggested we contact Time Warner customer service. Time Warner made three trips to our home and never solved the problem and leading us to believe the problem was with out equipment. Once again Buddy came out to our home and spent three hours troublshooting our issue. In the end he located the problem in our basemant. It seems that they had installed a few splitters in the basement that went out to six cable outlets. Since we only use two televisions Buddy removed the splitters and installed a two way one and the problem was solved. Ever more suprising was the fact that he didn't charge us a penny to do it even though it was on a Saturday after store hours in his free time. Not to mention the fact that he repaired a problem that had nothing to do with Creative Acoustics installation. We will never shop anywhere else! Even if the cost was higher it would be worth it considering the exceptional customer service we received. By the way the system still performs great and we could not be happier."
