While Pizzadili may have good food, their lack of customer service and professionalism is appalling. We hired Pizzadili to do the catering for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary renewal of vows and luncheon. They nearly ruined a once-in-a-lifetime event. We hired them to set up at noon and break down at 3PM. They showed up nearly an hour late, missing a piece of equipment and without the champagne flutes for the toast at the beginning of the luncheon. They left our guests hanging for 20 minutes after the luncheon was supposed to start, and then forced us to rearrange the order of events to accommodate their mistake. To add insult to injury, the person they left there began pressuring us at 2:30 to begin clean-up, immediately after we'd FINALLY been able to do the toast. Glasses still half-full of sparkling cider were removed from guests so Pizzadili could clean up and they were gone by 2:50PM, leaving us to return the tablecloths and commercial coffee container. They never bothered to call us or the church where the luncheon was being held to inform us of any problem with being late. When my wife spoke with Pete Pizzadili (one of the owners) later in the week, he said he was sorry but made the excuse that they'd had another event at the same time. My wife had to pressure him to make some sort of amends for their gross negligence, and at that we only had $80 knocked off a $1,400 bill. The owner's reason for not reducing our bill as apology? He would ""end up taking a loss"" on the job. We took an unrecoverable loss on this important family event. Anyone who is unable to recognize that they should take a financial loss because of their incompetence (or at least their inability to do the job they promised) should not be a company you do business with.

I have to admit I had a serious phobia about ever stepping foot into the San Bruno Location ever again. Im not a clean-a-holic but it had been so run down that it was just tragic. I remember the first time(back in '99) I went there I did a quick about face and left due to flies in the meat area. I tried many times over the years to stop in but the situation always left me shopping somewhere else. Now in 2010 w/ a new face life and some much needed love, Lunardi's is a local market that any neighbor would be proud of. Bakery, soup bar, deli, you name it & they have it. Of course, w/ a new look, the prices have also stayed gourmet. Is it my everyday market, NO. If I need to drop in for a bottle of wine & a random last minute item, then I go there.

super saver by in large, has the best food prices in council bluffs...the produce is o.k.,...the bakery is good,...the deli is good,...the floral is good, and general grocery is good. the only area that needs attention is the meat shop, while the price is pretty good, the quality seems fair at best.i am talking about beef in particular, u.s. select is a low grade of beef....however, ground beef,chicken and pork are all in the good range. overall a good store to save money on your grocery bill.

Outstanding!! My son and dtr-in-law were married this past weekend and Russ's Market was the vendor for both their flowers and wedding cakes. The wedding was in Omaha, so I was a little concerned about everything coming together. But, everything arrived on time and I found that you exceeded my expectations. The floral dept made these unbelievable centerpieces (orange bird of paradise and tiger lilies, green spider mums and dark purple iris) in tall, medium and short vases. The vases were lined with lime slices (whole limes in the tall vases). I had so many people mention to me that these were the most beautiful floral arrangements they had seen at a reception. Fran in the bakery was very helpful. Great customer service from beginning to end (she deserves a raise/promotion guys, really!). The wedding cake was layered with chocolate, white and marble. Then we had round cakes in 5 different flavors (carrot, red velvet, lemon, german chocolate and coconut). The lemon was my favorite, until I tasted the coconut....Every cake moist and beautifully designed, exactly as my son and dtr in law requested. Truly the best cake that I have had (yes including those specialty cake bakeries in Omaha) and AGAIN many, many people including myself remarking afterward that they wished they had more. Both my dtr in law and I are pretty particular about what we wanted and you blew us away. I wanted to give you the credit that you deserve. I would highly recommend both your floral department and your bakery to anyone for their wedding. It was worth much more than we paid, (the cost was the added bonus!)
