I stopped by one day to buy gas (out front) and was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of wines on display and the quaint, cozy out-of-the-way restaurant in back. To look at the outside of the building belies the surprising culinary treasure I found inside. i cant say enough about the food. the portions were generous, with all kinds of diverse menu selections (that with the right chardonnay) are perfect for a formal business luncheon or a casual, intimate dinner. my first time there, i just wanted to try a tapas dish (but ended up ordering three b/c they were so delicious!) the next time, i brought a date and we tried la tabla de carne, which is a mix of all different kinds of meats served on a wooden plank (+ points for presentation!) which, when matched with the right wine (i'm not much into that stuff, but she LOVED the selection), made for a perfect date. the best part (well, besides the food and wine) was its simple, unassuming atmosphere and good atmosphere. if you're looking for something (pleasantly) unexpected, you've got to try this place.

Up Down, Up Down , Up Down, Up Down,...that is how your prices go. I CAN NOT Stand it any more. We can not stand it any more. FIRST your company couldn't handle the debit card fiasco and now this STUPID, STUPID TV commercial!!! We like your produce section and the people who work in your local store but my .wife won't shop because of your higher prices in the rest of the store and because she will not use her debit card again. When you play that commercial of UP DOWN I want to drive over and smash my vehicle through your front door! NO KIDDING. Get off the TV tube.

overpriced but i guess thats the eastside.kinda sad all there is is pic n saves for most of this area they really began to limit alot of there selection expecially at this location.everything is a bit more expensive here and there store is small but they move really quick and are almost never out of anything.(except bread).there employees arent to helpfull but the store is clean and the food is fresh.

I never write reviews, but I am so utterly disappointed w/the store manager Marcia on Thanksgiving day 2012, at this Pick n Save location: 10202 West Silver Spring Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53225. There is a brand spakin' new Walmart built right next to Pick n Save, but I like to support local companies vs a big box store, so I chose to give my business to Pick N Save over Walmart, which I won't do again. Since the opening of the new Walmart on 9/12/12, this particular Pick n Save's parking lot has been pretty much empty and only filled w/their own employees cars, and I always felt bad that Walmart was going to eat this Pick N Save alive, so I always shopped there instead. At the line, they had a sign that if you bought $100 worth of gift cards from various stores, they would give you a $20 voucher for your next order. When my voucher didn't print out, I asked the cashier, and he told me oh, I had to use my Pick N Save card at Kohl's to get the $20. WHAT!? Since when does Kohl's use Pick N Save cards? So I went to customer service only to find out the fine print at the very bottom I didn't read stated this special was only on 11/23 and 11/24. Only then did I find out that I can't even get a refund on gift cards (my first time ever buying them) so I can come back on 11/23 and rebuy it. I was fooled and disappointed, I asked to speak w/the store manager and Marcia came out. She was not helpful at all, rude and snide. I explained the situation and she could care less. Just rudely "no, there's nothing I can do." NOTHING? Seriously? You're the store manager. Doesn't Pick n Save empower you at all to make the necessary decisions to keep your customers? I have been a loyal Pick n Save patron since my teenage years and have spent TENS AND THOUSANDS of dollars there. Pick N SAVE has lost my business over a $20 voucher, which I would have come back to use and spend hundreds more with, and I am going to tell all my family and friends about how poorly I was treated. I will never spend another dime at Pick n Save and would rather spend my hard earned money at Woodman's, Sentry, Piggly Wiggly, Sendiks, or Cermaks from now on. Their parking lot will be 1 more empty. I am a small business owner, and I just couldn't help to think that had I been in Marcia's shoes, even just to appease my customer, I would have given her a $20 credit/voucher because my customer would only be back to buy more than $20 of groceries in the long haul and I would have kept her business. I would never hire a "store manager" who couldn't understand this little about customer satisfaction and business. I'm sure the new remodeling costed at this location costed a pretty penny, but they surely won't keep any customers w/Walmart next door and especially with store managers like Marcia.

I know you will love this place. If you were to design the perfect little gourmet treat shop, this is just what you would do. For a Christmas diner party, I ordered a varies of muffins. We loved the: Chocolate muffins they were so moist and the seasonal "spiced" muffins OMG are just impeccable . I even suggeseted to the staff make that seasonal spiced muffin a regular! You really need to check this place out.
