Nice store, beautiful products, great walk in humidor. fun place. I do wish this store would start carrying Carothers' Olive Oil. I have asked for this product more than once. Carothers' is a local product, I very much like supporting local. This is one reason I do shop at Oliver T's! AJ's located at 1836 S. Val Vista Mesa AZ, are a bunch of crooks. They tried to rip us off. They had a sign up in their fruit and vegetable section. Buy any Organic Girl salad dressing and get any salad for free. Well, of course, we get to the cashier and the dumb blonde doesn't know anything about it. Luckily, we took a picture of the sign. Of course she says, well that only applies to the large sizes. Which we replied, look it doesn't say that on the sign. We just left everything and walked out.

In 1945 Gaspare Maiorana bought an apple orchard on seven mile road in Livonia Michigan. It included a home and a roadside stand. There on the street corner, he sold apples and seasonally grown produce to friends and neighbors. Fifteen years later Gaspare brought his son Joe Sr. into the family business. Joe's interests were in retailing, and it soon became apparent that they must open a produce market to better serve the community. 1967 they opened Joe's Produce. The store has been changed and modified throughout the years to meet our customer's needs, yet even today Joe's produce has the same commitment to quality and service that Gaspare and Joe Sr. had 50 years ago. Joe gets up before dawn every day to drive to the produce terminal and eastern market. He personally selects only the best produce available for his customers.

I've lived down the street from Joe's for about 12 years. It used to be my favorite place for produce, top quality and reasonable prices. After Joe's expansion a couple years ago quality remained, but good the prices went way up I also love Byrd's Meats next door. I found out last week Byrd's will be gone in December due to Joe not renewing their lease (Joe owns the whole strip of shops). As if this isn't bad enough, Joe intends to put his own meat store in Byrd's place. The greed of this guy! I'm done doing business with Joe's FOREVER.

They have become too rude.A couple yrs ago they didn't seem rude.Especially in the supplents dept.We used to be able to get knowledgeable friendly help, about the various Chinese medicines.Therearetwo women in that area now who just ignore you,nomatter how long you stand there.You can even walk behind the counter to look at things,and the younger one just pushes past you like your in her way,and still never asks if she can help you w anything! And honestly so far she hasn't been able,or seemingly cared to help describe or explain any of their items,even upon direct questioning.The older women just never waits on you either.They both just ignore that your there Nomatter how long you are! There used to be very friendly,knowledgeable helpful people there. Ya these people are just rude. And last few times so were cashiers and sackers.There are other places to get Chinese medicine. MSG neurotoxin,banned in many countries is in most of the food anyway.Cashier and sackers rude last time also.

Osabi has a great ambience with great food! You have a choice of sitting on either the sushi or teppan side and i recommend trying both! If you want to have a nice quiet dinner go on the sushi side and grab a table or a seat at the sushi bar or even out on the patio by a fireplace! If your with children or a larger group go on the teppan side where a chef cooks right in front of you with great entertainment. They have very high quality and fresh sushi. The best sushi in Ventura! I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone.

Don't bother. There are only four comfortable places to sit in this restaurant, and they are filled quickly. The benches along two walls are padded. all the other chairs are little ice cream chairs that become excruciating after about 30 minutes. I joined the Diners Club. nothing they promised was given to us. When I asked the manager to call me about this issue, I never got a call. They have messed up reservations three times. The food is quite uneven. sometimes it's good, sometimes the steaks are full of gristle and food is burned. I won't be going back. And I used to love the Ole store.
