My wife an I ate here and found the portion sizes to be rather small for the price. I don't mind paying top dollar for top food but seafood was all overcooked, including the lobster. Mussels seemed to have never been purged as they were gritty. In conclusion, this is my first visit ever to an Italian restaurant that did not serve a side salad or at least a Caesar salad with the meal. a side salad is an additional charge above the 24.95 seafood special, which by the way is the same dish as the seafood meal on the menu for about 15 or 16 $ with a very small lobster tail added to it. Meal was $70.00 and an additional 30.00 for the $8.00 bottle of wine we were given as the wine list is outdated and not available in the advertised selections. Overall, I feel they are rather pricey and will do well to withstand the incoming olive garden. At least olive garden gives you salad with your $25.00 meal.

The restaurant s menu includes veal scaloppini, pan-seared rockfish, horseradish encrusted filet mignon, blackened double-cut pork chop, beef short ribs and sole meuniere. Andreotti's also serves ahi tuna, strawberry-balsamic glazed salmon, roasted breast of duck and confit of leg, cornish game hen and seared calf s sweetbreads. Most of the restaurant s wines are from the old world vineyards of France and Italy. Additionally, it offers a private room for parties and get-togethers for groups of 35 to 70 people.

The service was nice and the people friendly but we wete quite disappointef with the food. We ordered the combination appetizer. the onion rings and mushrooms had so much batter the veggied were unrecognizable. The fish and fries were run of the mill except for the excessive battet on the cod. We had desert which, thr coconut pie was good, but the carrot cake was not even as good as King Souper's offering. We spent $50 fir two people and wishef we had gone somewhere else. Do not go unless you do not like very good food and like to spend too much. which y

The atmosphere is casual with country diner accented table coverings & decor. It was pleasant & quiet with a fairly good pace of table turnover. The breakfast food was absolutely delicious. We ordered donuts to go and also ate on site. We realized that they must use variations of their donut batter to make the French toast, pancakes, & waffles, which were all uniquely flavorful. The omelettes were loaded & great tasting too! The service was excellent, no waiting time, quick, attentive, gave us recommendations, food was prepared quickly & plated beautifully. We would certainly consider a return visit for lunch or dinner as the tantalizing menu teased our palates. The price-to-value was unprecedented. our family of four (4) ate from the regular menu, also ordered a dozen (12) donuts to go, with gratuity for under $50. WeВ’d definitely recommend the pancakes & baked goods to go as well. Overall, awesome experience in this gorgeous rural park setting.

This restaurant is fantastic!!! The menu is always changing, but I never fail to find something wonderful to eat. The entrees are amazing! I've had a halibut to die for, and the wood burned chicken is a great dish for those who aren't feeling too daring. My mother had veal medallions that left her saying ""If it wasn't completely rude, I'd pick up this plate and lick it clean"". When I first ate here, I was ready to dismiss it as ""hoity toity uppity eating"", but I was SO wrong. There's no strict dress code (I've come in nice jeans and a blouse), the decor is really fun & eclectic. The owner must have a thing for the animated Speed Racer, even having a martini named after it. I have visited this restaurant 4 times over the past 3 years and only once have been disappointed in the service. (I wish I remembered what her name was, but I know she still works there. She spent all her time on tables with more people, and ignored what she must of thought of as the smaller tippers.) If you want the best service, ask to be seated where HUGH is serving. He's a darling. It IS a bit pricey - plan on spending $25-30 per person for the meal and a drink, but it's SO worth it. Don't fill up on an appetizer - by the time you finish your entree, you'll JUST have room for dessert and it'd be a crime if you didn't. Happy Eating!

Location: Right off of the street and in the same plaza as Yogli Mogli. Parking is a bit tight and they do not offer much parking space, so I recommend finding a spot on the side of the street and then walking. Atmosphere: My friend and I sat on the patio, which was nice and offered views onto the street. It also has a warm and rustic vibe. When you first walk into the restaurant I was greeted by a very friendly host who asked if we wanted to either sit inside or outside. He then led us to our table which was very clean and simple. The inside of the restaurant features a wall of wine options that you can choose from and also features desserts that I think you can pick up for togo. MurphyВ’s has a very casual laid back atmosphere that transports you to a Cali winery. Food/Beverages: We ordered the mimosas which were good because how can you really butcher a mimosa (juice & champagne)? I ordered the quinoa squash with the artichokes as an appetizer and a side of their mac and cheese. My lovely friend ordered their special, which was grilled scallops over angel hair pasta and tossed in a pesto sauce. The artichokes were very good because they were grilled and served with a delicious lemon aioli of some sort. I LOVE artichokes and boy, they did this artichoke justice. The quinoa squash was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. Many places usually offer bland vegetable entrees, but MurphyВ’s seasoned this entree to perfection. It was surprisingly good. The thing that stole my heart was actually the mac and cheese. I love mac and cheese and this was some good ole mac and cheese. I think they used some sort of white cheddar and truffle oil, which complemented the cheese very nicely. I also loved the fact that they used a thicker type of pasta in order to catch every drop of their delicious cheese sauce. If you do not thick that the shape of the pasta affects how a dish tastes, then you my friend need to try their mac and cheese. It was goooooood. My friendВ’s scallop pesto pasta was also very flavorful, light and filling. The pesto sauce was divine and she raved about the perfection that the scallops were cooked to. Service: Our server was very attentive to us and made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall: MurphyВ’s is a great place for a unique spin on traditional american food. Everything was seasoned to my liking and I will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings. Parking is a bit of a pain, but a bit of walking is not all that bad. I am surprised that I havenВ’t heard about this gem in Virginia HighlandВ’s until now.

Chanticleer Eatery is off the beaten path, but well worth the few extra minutes to find! We really put our heart into all that we do at Chanticleer. We make all that we can from scratch and that doesn't mean heat and serve! We bake all of our bread, slow smoke our pulled pork, serve the best prime grade steaks, make our soups with lots of love and of course make our to die for cookies from scratch! We are really passionate about awesome eats, and get so disappointed when we eat food that isn't thoughtful.
