There were a number of clean tables in view but he disappeared for quite a while. We were weary and ready to leave when at last he appeared again and approached us. He was called away by a bored looking supervisor who looked right through us as if we did not exist and sent the waiter on some errand for him. We walked. This is no way to treat a guest. We should have been offered a seat and some water. We felt that the waiter was a rookie but the supervisor was clearly not and ignored all rules of common decency. Their food may be delicious but their attitude is rotten. |

Our hostess seated us and responded pleasantly to our request to have a table by the windows (dinner entertainment which is worth seeing). Our server ANDI was superb in every aspect. Welcoming, full knowledge of the menu, made positive recommendations and met our every need. She did not rush us and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner The food was excellent. I had steak and fried scallops. Steak cooked to a perfect medium (hot pink center) my wife salmon. All excellent. Deserts were nothing to write mom about. Wonderful experience. |

The pancakes are Huge! The Blueberry Pancakes are my personal favorite. Biscuits and gravey are great, they don't have that fresh out of the can taste like some other places. This is also one of the best places for Pie, they sell hundreds of pies and they all taste great. We will drive up there just to pick up pies for special occasions from Peach, Apple, Pecan, Bluebberry to Lemon and Rhubard each one is fantastic. |

Not a place for ambience, but excellent home cooking. Of course, this is a place for meat lovers, and the best plates involve ribs and barbecued chicken. Many of the dishes are prepared with Indian spices, but nothing is too overwhelming. Also recommended are the Mediterranean platters, burgers, fried catfish, and the pies. The chef / owner is quite friendly and is often willing to cook to order. Service is generally, but not always speedy. That of course depends on how busy the place is. While parking is tough in front of the BBQ Pit, it is easy to find spaces a little up the hill on the side streets. |
