The company offers services in replacement of kitchen counter tops and/or cabinets, bathroom remodeling and consultancy. It has completed numerous large scale and remodel projects in addition to dealing with many commercial general contractors.

This company installed a counter top for us. After 3 months the seams started to warp. We made two attempts to get the issue resolved with no success. They claimed that the damage was due to water exposure. The fact is that the counter was not sealed and glued correctly at the seams. Beware of there " we have been in business for 40 years" pitch. They did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem.

Went to this location and all I can say is that they were wonderful. I have no knowledge of tiles and all that and they took the time to explain and advise me. I took tile from a competitor and asked if she would use it if it was her and she said absolutely it's very nice. Mind you they are in the tile business and could he be swayed me to buy from them. I bought other items I need. Great great service. There was something I wanted but it was in the warehouse and it was late their warehouse was closed. I'll be happy to go back when they are open for business

I went all the way from my house to D & B Tile of Palmetto Bay. I checked their website first and it said they were open until 4:30. It took me almost an hour to get there. All I needed was one bag of grout for my tile. I got there at 4:10. Unbeknownst to me they close their warehouse at 4:00. So I asked if they could please get one bag of grout for me from the warehouse. They "apologized" and said, "Sorry, the warehouse is closed". They didn't care the time it took me to get there. They didn't care that they could have easily gotten the small bag of grout I needed. They don't care about their customers. They are awful. I will never buy anything from them ever! Horrible customer service! Don't bother to go there. They are really thoughtless!

I'm dealing with the store on Luna Road in Carrollton. It's been the worst experience ever with any type of supplier. I purchased the tile 4 weeks before my bathroom upgrade, just to make sure my project wasn't held up by not having the tile. The contractor went to pick up the tile to begin tiling & found that American Tile had accidentally sent my [paid for] order to Houston to be sold in their outlet store. Luckily they were able to get it back up here, I had a 2 days impact to my project. Last day of tiling, we found that one box of bullnose didn't match the rest (error in that lot). So rather than jumping through hoops to fix the problem, American TileВ’s been slow to get replacement bullnose. They sent tile out to American Bullnose to have it made there. They said it would be done Friday (another 2 day delay). But it didn't happen Friday and me and my tile guys wasted our day waiting. They said it would be done Monday, so I got another day off work and lined up the tile guys for Tuesday. But then Tuesday came and it still wasn't done. American Tile's manager can't even seem to put a priority on this order at American Bullnose, nor can he seem to get an exact day that the order will be done. They have now cost me over a week on my project and they are offering me no date for when I'll have my bullnose. The project is basically on hold. This is hurting me and several contractors. American Tile seems imcompetent to all of us and we can't do a thing about it. It's like they don't even take ownership for the problems they cause, nor the cost of the problems they cause. I would recommend NOT using American Tile for their disorganization, poor quality and not taking responsibility for the problems they cause. They offered me no compensation either, by way of reduction in my invoice or anything for all the added expense they have cost me. Do business with them at your own risk.

Cress Kitchen & Bath personnel were professional, prompt, courteous, and generally wonderful from the start of the project to the finish. They worked with me on everything: my budget, my taste, my wants, and my schedule. My designer was ultra-patient with me. she worked with me to get just what I wanted. Our tastes are very different, but she continued to try to understand what I wanted. By the end, she knew what I wanted before I knew myself! Her service was over the top. I could not have had a more pleasant person to do the actual work. I have a very small house and only one bathroom. It is easy for people to get in one another's way, especially during such a typically stressful period as a bath remodel. Mark was courteous, did excellent work, and was very considerate. He cleaned up thoroughly every night. He went well out of his way to do a fantastic job. There were glitches. A few things didn't go exactly as planned, including the time the work would take. This is just the nature of construction and Cress was wonderful about making things right. A cabinet that looked great on paper was too big in reality, and Cress resolved the problem fairly. I could go on and on. I just can't say enough about Cress Kitchen & Bath.

Although the end product is decent overall, getting there was an uphill battle all of the way. Cress advertises as a full service company but there was nowhere near enough oversight of the project for quality control. The main craftsman was very difficult to deal with and although his work was of a high standard in the beginning, it slipped dramatically by the end, and our designer never seemed to take an active interest in the project. Some of the subcontractors were good and some were not - for example, the dry wallers were excellent, but we put in a very expensive natural stone backsplash and the standard of tiling was awful. It was too risky to take it out for fear of damaging cabinets and granite, so we are stuck with it. The hardwood floor was a terrible standard and took many tries to get to an acceptable level. Overall, the 8-10 week project (as quoted initially) was just completed after 5.5 months. Before they started work we asked Cress to pull a permit on our behalf (a very normal thing to do) and when the day came to do that, the designer stood back and let the craftsman ask us why we were pulling a permit and talk us out of it (even though we were doing major structural work, plumbing, electrical В– you name it). That was a huge mistake. A licensed and reputable firm should pull permits for every job. It protects everyone, but mostly the homeowner to ensure the work is of a high standard and legal. When we realized our mistake we told them we would permit it retrospectively and they tried to stop us. There were many painful fights during the project to get an acceptable quality end result. Perhaps the most painful was dealing with Jim, one of the owners. He is arrogant, condescending, and has no idea how to speak or deal with customers. He even tried to bully us to pay him $5,000 more than we owed - before the work was anywhere near complete. As mentioned, the kitchen designer did not take enough ownership to ensure the project was going smoothly, and there was very little proactive communication and problem solving, which you would expect for a project of this size. I would not recommend Cress. It was far too painful and lengthy of a process, and much of the work was not the standard you would expect until we fought (hard) to have it fixed. Even now there are places where we were simply too worn down by the experience to continue arguing, but that are not completed to the level you would expect at the price piont. No reputable firm should question a customer that wants a permit. Ever. With the benefit of hindsight I can't imagine a bigger red flag to moving forward with a contractor.

Dan is very professional and on time. Dan installed our new dishwasher and replaced the water lines. All our screens were replaced. We have now new custom made shelves in our garage.
