I declined and told him that I spent 1,100 dollars on those coats and I took very, very good care of them, I'll see you in court. While in court, Mr Pigeon made another generous offer, 100 dollars- I declined. While in front of the magistrate and everyone else, I showed pictures of me in my coats and everyone could see the coats fit me and were in GREAT shape. I then put the coats on in front of everyone and they could see that the coats were several inches above my waist and the sleeves were half way up my forearms. What happened next was as bad if not worse than having 2 beautiful, expensive leather coats DESTROYED. The court officer ruled against me. They must be golfing buddies. Moral of the story, NEVER bring your dry cleaning to CAPE WAY CLEANERS and get new golfing buddies.",,,,

He assured us they did tailoring there all the time for culinary students and that they knew what they were doing. We paid up front for the work so she wouldn't have to spend her money when she picked them up. After they were done, she tried them on in her dorm room, and they were ridiculously short, much shorter than the length they were originally pinned to. There was very little room left to let them out, because the cleaners cut most of the extra fabric off. She called the cleaners to see if they could do anything to add an inch or inch and a half to it the length. She brought the jackets back. The manager assured her he would try to do something. Rather than add seam tape to the bottom and let them out as she asked, they sewed an extra three or four inches of extra fabric (from where -- we don't know) to the hem and left it like that. No one called her to ask if this was acceptable. It looked horrible and would not meet CIA's uniform standards. The jackets were ordered for her by the school and cannot be replaced in time for her class, so we now have to rig up something with fusible hemming tape to try to make the jackets presentable for class. It's clear Red Cap thought they could do such a poor job and get away with it because she's just a student. Shame on you, Red Cap! You don't deserve to stay in business.",,,,

The manager of Martinizing said that you never, ever spot clean velvet (that process stains velvet) and you never, ever put velvet thorough a machine (machines destroy the nap). You would think that the manager of Norvell Bass would know as much as the manager of Martinizing... no. Sergio was a HUGE JERK and didn't apologize. This is a HUGE example of a person STUBBORN IN HIS OWN IGNORANCE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO MARTINIZING. Norvell Bass was not worth all of the aggravation. They always miss my stains or i receive a sorry tag. the quality of pressing is very poor, double creased pants and poorly pressed blosues. They charge $4.50 and up, depending on the fabric type (silk, linen or sequined) I end up paying $7.50 per blouse. and they didn't tell me the price until I picked up my clothes, that's when I also realized they don't guarantee stain removal. I contacted dry clean survey dot com and they really helped me and gave me some great advice so that I can avoid these type of dry cleaners in the future.
