The BBQ sauce easily beat those other restaurants, with a nice tangy taste. My sons both ordered the BBQ Beef Tenderloin and both commented that the steak almost melted in their mouths. My son's girlfriend commented that the chicken was very tasty and my wife said the Caesar salad was also good. :-) The waiter never let the soda, water, and/or ice tea get too low before bringing more drinks out. My wife and I love trying out new restaurants. We agreed that Popeye's Chop House was one of the nicest surprises we have encountered in a while. They hung up when I called back, and I called the next 2 nights to get the rest of the order THAT I PAID THEM IN FULL FOR, but was lied to and laughed at both nights while I waited outside for them to return as promised. Forget this place. The food sucks anyway. You can stay home and be hungry without their help. Call Pizza Time or Big Joe's instead, you won't have one problem with either of those places."

So expected it to be on the large side but there weren't many options for salad. I ordered the Chicken Salad. It had shaved grilled chicken throughout this tossed up mess piled with golden raisens and ruined with a fairly tastey but too much dressing. The dressing should be served on the side but they threw it all around and threw it in a very large bowl. It actually looked as though it had been sitting there for awhile before bringing to the table. The lettuce was wilty and not crisp at all. NOT THE WAY TO SERVE a pricey meal salad. My friend had some kind of crepe dish which was very large and she ordered some spaghetti squash on the side which was dinner sized plate. I could tell she did not enjoy it or like her meal as she picked at it but would not say anything because it was my treat. We were not served with enthusiasm at all. My friends coffee came to the table cold and we had to ask for another cup. It was an altogether negative experience and I will not be going back there. Not special at all! We have been three times and have been satisfied every time. Fantastic menu (you gotta have the Balsamic Ribeye Steak), great decor, fine drinks (check out their bar where all the bottles are sorted by color...amazing), and unparalleled service ( these people even stop and stand sideways when you get up from the table, so you can pass them)! I new I wouldn't go wrong in celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary at WCG. You wont be disappointed."
