And I'm not THAT big of a baby, I just want to be comfortable. Dr.Dietze does IV right in his office. He can control just how much sedation to give you just enough to go to sleep. It was so nice not to have to mess with guessing how many pills to take and waiting fot them to take effect. And after the IV, I woke right up and continued my day. I remember being sooo groggy with the pills. I will tell anyone that asks, IV with Dr. Dietze is the way to go with sedation. Don't bother with stupid pills!!!! 1",,,,

Reading some of these other reviews I must agree with the other negative reviews, the whole experience seemed very amateur. Upon leaving the receptionist informed me that for crowns it would be additional money for the 'type' even though their special included crowns. So I agreed and left. A few hours later I received a call from the same receptionist, saying that the extra work in trying to match the tooth would be thousands of dollars more, and even then that the dentist didn't know if she could match it. Obviously, dentist Silvestre had the receptionist call me to more the double to the price quote given because she was not confident she could do the work. I could not believe how unprofessional the receptionist was. She was rude, interrupted me, didn't listen to anything I had to say, and was had a very unprofessional attitude. I could not believe this could be the same receptionist earlier that seemed pleasant and happily took my money for the consult. I was appalled. Save your time, your money, and protect your teeth, and find a reputable dentist. Also, their office in Newark is in a seedy neighborhood, in a run down building.
