I have a policy to go with the second cheapest, cuz, you know, the cheapest is always the worst company that do the worst work. However after Chris from Scrimpf called me and I talked to him, I hired him. Great decision. Very polite, would call every few days to give me an update (ordered the stock, welding the pieces, all set to install...). Came when promised, did great work, very careful to keep my yard clean and came back 3 days later to check out his work with me to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction. I thought he's just trying to make more money, so I said it's ok. But then he's willing to fix that for free because whatever he will do should match to what I have. I still doubt cuz he might break things and ask for more money. So I said ""no"", but then. Once he did all his part, I realized the problems with the previous work. He then offered again for free fix. which I said OK that time. OMG, overall, his work was awesome. this is the guy who can't accept any problems even though it's not his work. He just can't stand the issues about iron works. Steve wants PERFECTION!!! After all work is done and paid, guess what, Steve and his team completely cleaned up the site and just made it like a new place. No one could even notice that the place was where iron works was done just a min ago. JERSEY VILLAGE FENCE COMPANY the owner is Patrick Wayne Culp I DO NOT Recommend Jersey Village Fence Company (JVFC). Beware if you plan to use them, I should have stopped the job the day of installation they cut the AT&T underground cable. Thirty days after the installation of the fence part of the electricity in my house stopped working. There was a lot of detail work that inconvenience me before underground replacement cables could be installed (rainy weather was also a factor) but, the Centerpoint tech found that the slice to the cable was where JVFC poured concrete. With the cold rainy weather the cable turned to corroded powder and snapped in half. It cost $3,000 to repair, plus the inconvenience of 50 degree temp in the house (18 days with partial electricity). Mr. Culp was no where to be found from January until April. After a few attempt to contact him this morning--he blocked me from the JVFC Facebook page. I did research on him and suspect he had more recent trouble with the law on 12/24/17. I plan to take legal action and recover the cost of the repair/replacement to my electrical underground cable. Attached are pics of the cut cable, the JVFC FB post dated 12/15/17 and 04/16/18. I have sent him a letter to his email address that is posted below. I sent him a text message with the info--no response. Below is the information on the company.
