My son has has 2 sets of tubes, and while he was in for a different surgery Dr. Dipersio came to childrens during his surgery to remove the imbedded tube! How is that for service right! My son recently went to the audiology department there at UT, and they were so kind and patient with him! At no point before the appointment or at the appointment was I told that I would be seeing 2 doctors versus one. I did not even know that the man testing my hearing was indeed a doctor. After the hearing test, I was taken to another examination room where I met with Dr. Carlson who explained the results of the test. Passed the test. I then receive a bill from Dr. Carlson's office stating that I owe another $45 dollars for a co-pay for Dr. Engelkes, who turns out was the man who conducted the hearing test. Emily in the billing office would not answer the question, ""why was I not charged 2 co-pays at the appointment?"" This is classic bait & switch. Dr. Carlson's practice and office is unscrupulous and deceptive.
