Third - they called to tell me my glasses were ready, but they did not tell me they were closing the Stone Oak office location for over three weeks. I showed up to pick up my glasses, they were closed, and when I called they told me. You think they would mention that when they told me to pick up my glasses. It turns out they carry the glasses with them when they go to different locations, but fail to tell the patient. It is not written on the receipt or web site. I'm not sure how they expect you to know the hours of the location. I'm also not sure how you're supposed to know they close for three week. The offices are 15 miles apart, and the pick up location is in Live Oak rather than central San Antonio. All this could have been avoided if they just gave their customers proper information -- write it on the receipt, but it on your website, tell people when you call and say come pick up your glasses. They sorely lack on service and were rude when I called to find out what was going on. Ultimately I had the insurance company intervene, and the doctor is mailing me my glasses...hopefully. We'll see. Then she tell me the only reason I was scheduled was because I told them I had a PPO. I didnt get seen cause I didn't want to argue with them but I will never recommend them just because if the receptionist can't get their information and scheduling right I dont want to know how it works behind the scenes."
