But when I went into labor on a Saturday evening last April, no one answered the on-call phone. I called and left voicemails. I texted. I called the center. My husband called and texted. He called the pager (which was out of service). Finally, I asked my husband to take me to the center. I thought maybe Dawn was already there with another woman in labor and maybe that was why she wasnВ’t answering the phone. We got to the center and there was no one there. I called the on-call phone again and left a message. Still no one answered or called me back. We ended up going to NCH, where they discovered my blood pressure was really high and admitted me. The staff at NCH were amazing and honored my wishes to have a natural birth. Most importantly, they were there when I needed them. I wish I could say the same of Dawn, who never answered and never called or texted me back. The next week, I was emailed by the office manager who said that they never got any of my calls or messages. My phone records indicate that they went through, but even if they didnВ’t, I wouldnВ’t recommend trusting something as important as the birth of your child to the birth centerВ’s poor cell service. Dawn never contacted me to find out how I was or how my baby was and certainly never apologized for the terrifying experience we went through or to refund me any of the money that they required I pay before the birth of my baby. My kid had a severe ear infection and was throwing up for days. Thankfully, my kid coughed while I was talking to the nurse, and that was what got her to make an appointment that day. But, if it had been something else, my kid wouldn't have been seen. The only pros about the place is that the new facility is nice and the hours. Receptionists are very nice. Again, this is the Broomall location. No yelp page for it."

But her nurse kept pressuring me not accepting my answer that they do not hurt. Then Melissa proceeded to say I have 2 bright red ""polips"", on fire.(that was her spelling) so then she wanted me to have surgery and I actually believed her as Dr. Elland had told me I should get a hysterectomy which is a last resort move. Melissa had the audacity to write CON on the page of my referral to have them removed, I am not a con nor do I lie, when I said they do not hurt, I meant that they do not hurt and I feel her nurse pressured me until I said I had pain, Then they referred me to another Dr. Now I will not go back there and now, I need to seek out a third opinion. Due to the fact that I cannot trust them after pressuring me into saying they were painful when they are not painful. In 2010, I was told that I need to have a mammogram every three months, and I needed an ultra sound due to what they believed they had found something and she treated it as if it was a joke in which I do not find funny and it is actually quite scary if you think about it, all these years I have just been ignoring it as I did not want to know if I had cancer or not. I feel that they treated my visit extremely unprofessionally and that I was a brunt end of a joke to them. They left me without any dignity and feeling that it was all a farce. And, I feel that cancer should never be taken as joke as it is real and has taken way too many lives, I lost my Aunt Pauline to breast cancer, so I do not take it lightly. And no one has the right to mess with another's life. I would not have went to see the doctor if I thought it was a joke. I should have never received paperwork from my doctor always saying malignant, as I take it very seriously. And for her to just blow it off as it was nothing. maybe she should work in a field that requires less empathy and compassion as peoples' feelings are real and valid. As, I was depending on her to take what I was told more seriously as it was serious as far as I knew. People have feelings and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. D",,,,
