She said I could not return the stone, but she would talk with the employee that filled in for them and return my call. My call was never returned, so I called back and spoke to a gentleman (did not state his name when answering the phone), but I assumed it was the owner. He verified what the lady stated before and that is fine. My problem is do not leave your business in incapable hands. The employee should have known what the return policy states and should not have told me anything any different. The employee told me about a physician in town that had purchased several pallets of what appeared to be the same stone. Once his project was completed, he returned a pallet that was partially used. It appeared to be 60% or so full. That was when I asked the employee about returning the unused portion of a pallet and he stated to me and my wife that there would be a restocking fee of 10%. Why should I have been treated any differently?"

After a driver did considerable damage to our yard on Saturday, the owner calls my husband late on Monday afternoon and wants to go ""halfsies"" on the repair. He claims we didn't sign a waiver for going through our yard. We didn't sign a waiver because we weren't offered a waiver to sign. After the driver started getting stuck, my husband asked that he call someone and get the truck towed from our yard, but the driver kept spinning his wheels and resisted all requests that he not damage the yard further. The truck was stuck almost up to its axle in mud and grass from our yard. Josh from McCarty's is now offering to drop dirt in our driveway so we can fix it ourselves. Bad customer service. We won't be coming here again, and it's rather sad, because they were super convenient to our location."
