It was at our home in the drive for 8 days after they originally stated they would pick it up. A few weeks later we received our deposit check for the difference . As I stated earlier, we were in the middle of a remodel. The check was tossed in with a bunch of other paperwork to be sorted out later. We cashed the check a few weeks ago, only for it to bounce and receive a bounce check fee from our bank. After calling and speaking with Shapells twice last week and one this morning, they have stated ""it's not our fault you took so long to cash the check. We changed accounts."" They stated they would reissue the check the fee was my fault. Seriously. This last call was the worst, same conversation, only this time they asked for my name and I give it to them, at which point she told me that they would be reissuing the check without the bounced check fee and there is nothing I can do about it now and hung up on me. This is a shady business, stay clear. There are plenty of other roll-off companies in Jacksonville to go with."

Several months ago our trash bin caught on fire. We don't know how. I called the company and reported it. My husband spoke to the owners son who told him if we repair and paint the can we would not be charged for a new bin. The owners son also told my husband that he would charge him $20 per lid to replace them. My hudband agreed. We repaired and painted the bin. We never got the lids. Instead we got a bill for $80 for the set of lids and a $10 increase in our monthly service. My husband called and was told the owners son did not have the authority to quote him prices. My husband said he was not going to pay it. We are now into November and have been paying for the service. I get home from work today and the trash bin is gone. In its place was a bill for this months service and the $80 for the lids with a handwritten note saying the bin was picked up. Horrible service and dishonest people. Go with a different company.",,,,
