Lobster (at $25.00 at least) that they didn't think they should pay for after eating it!!! Times are a changing here, however, because a new management team is weeding these types of customers out! After collaborating with a very knowledgeable Hartford native, I chose Trumbull Kitchen. It was great. The service was a little slow on this particular Wednesday but it could've been because of Restaurant Week or the crowd. In any case, the food was delicious. We had an array from the menu including the calamari (made with nuts, yuck) to the smoked chicken, aritichoke dip, sushi roll etc. All of it was good. My colleagues' meals ranged from vegetarian to pad thai to stone pies to my hanger steak and no one had any complaints except the service was a little slow. I'm not sure about the drinks because we had champagne but the bar was well stocked. Overall, I say you grab a bunch of friends or maybe that special friend and settle in for a nice, relaxing, leisurely dinner that you all will like a lot. See you when you get there.
