I love this place. I have been planning my wedding for over a year now and have gone to the venue many times and called even more and they have been nothing short of amazing. We had a wonderful time on the "Celebration". The captain and crew were super, and the catering was excellent! I was on one of their boats, the "Festival", earlier this year for our company party and we spent some time swimming and hanging out. It was perfect because it was close to downtown and convenient for everyone after work. These boats are really nice, and definitely not barges. Plenty of space outside or you can be cool inside! Oh, and the office staff was really helpful too, it was so easy to arrange everything. I will be back again!!

We stayed three nights and the service never got better. First night and day I understand. Not staffed up and need time to adjust. However third morning no coffee or breakfast until 6 am. The line crews are ready to eat and leave at 5. Asked at front desk will there be any accommodation due to natural disaster and need for workers to be on the road early. Front desk reply no! Clean not quite. Polite but no extra customer service. Disappointing !

I recently had a business funtion at the Presidential Banquet Center and was amazed at the quality of the food and the service. The banquet facillity was spotless and everyone was very attentive to all the needs of my guests. The food was presented as if the chefs had made each plate special. The staff is very knowledgeable about the event we were having as well as the food they were serving. If anyone is looking for a facillity to hold their special event I would definatly recommend the Presidential Banquet Center for any occasion.tyl

Are you kidding me. "Free show with this coupon". After waiting for 40 minutes to be seated my wife and I were seated next to a couple that we had never met (awkward for both couples). That would have been OK if they had mentioned that in advance when we made our reservation. The gentlemen that sat us gave us our menus and then took them back explaining that they were the wrong ones. He returned with paper "special" menus. The couple we were seated next to had just moved to our seats because they were seated in the wrong seats and they had already eaten dinner because they were rushed by the server. At that point the totally unprofessional waiter asked us for our order and didn't know the answers to any of our simple questions. We received our pre-made salads in seconds. My wife wasn't quite through with hers and the waiter took it out from under her without even asking. Our "filets" arrived and were mediocre at best (my wife wouldn't eat hers). After dinner was served the waiter then brought our appetizer (cold spinach dip!!). So on with the Junior High School quality show (our High School was better). Although the band was good! The dancing was just OK and the solo ("Frank Sinatra") singer was flat. On to dessert so my wife and I decided a good time to escape. I asked the waiter for our check. He returned. Unbeknownst to us our "special" menu came with "special pricing". Our entree's were $29.95 each ( our new friends pre-paid $12.95) our uneaten appetizer was $10.95 (theirs was included) and $10.00 per glass of green wine. Total price with the pre-included 18% gratuity $92.50 WOW I got a "Free" show and screwed at the same time! I will NEVER go back.
