I went in today and the first gentleman I spoke with didn't even know what make my carpet cleaner was and said he didn't know the status and someone would need to call me tomorrow (since I have heard this multiple multiple times I said that was not acceptable) he told another man in the store to go get my carpet cleaner from the basement. They brought the carpet cleaner up and I asked if it was fixed and they said they didn't know. How in the year 2012 do you not have any type of tracking system? We bought a new Meile vacuum from them a year ago, and the transaction was fine, and the price was good. HOWEVER, my next experience with them was appalling. They agreed to service my old, original Meile vac that I've had for years. It needed a new clip on the wand that allows it to lengthen or shorten, and I asked to have it cleaned and serviced. After the second use, the repair broke. What I thought would be a straightforward phone call devolved into a lecture from the owner telling me I had to be careful (I've had the vac 25 years. I think my track record is pretty good) and she said she wouldn't cover the repair. I asked if they had serviced the motor, or if the labor charge was for the clip only. She couldn't or wouldn't give the info, at which point her tech took the phone, said the call had gone long enough, and repeated again and again ""use the other guy."" He said Meile vacuum motors don't need cleaning and servicing (why did they agree to do it when i called?) So the 'servicing' amounted to putting in a new vacuum bag and disposable filter. After 25 years, I'm pretty good at doing that myself and can buy a box full for the price they charged for one. So, I ended up paying $39 for nothing (and had to drive the hour to get there twice, because their actual hours don't match their posted hours) but the real issue is the spectacularly rude way they treated a paying customer who had recently bought a $500 Meile vacuum from them. I'm still pretty astonished by the phone call. My advice: take the tech's advice to ""go to the other guy."" I've always used Sew and Save in Ellsworth before this. they're more expensive, but obviously worth it."

The suction of the Central Wall Vacuum is powerful! I choose this brand for the excellent warranty and made in the USA. I love it! I also had them install a vroom mini retractable hose in my kitchen for the quick clean up mess. They also included a garge vac port for the cars. They threw this in for me at no additional charge. A great bonus!. This is the coolest products out! I would recommend them to everyone!"

And, it was GREAT for about two weeks. Then the performance went downhill rapidly. I called their office and was basically told too bad, you bought it...it's after the 3 day return period. I was NOT happy. Taking it in for a ""cleaning/ tune-up several months later I was told I hadn't properly cared for the machine. Apparently, it needs to be disasembled after EACH use and thoroughly cleaned. When I called the main office, again, I was told ""too bad"" you bought it, you're stuck with it. I was also told it was the ""BEST"" vacuum on the market IF you didn't live on a dirt road (dust clogs it up), and of course it needs to be completely disassembled after EACH use and thoroughly cleaned, then the rep. suggested I add cooking oil to the water to ""trap"" the dust. Not gonna happen! I have gone back to my ugly, cumbersom, but VERY reliable Kirby! Thank you! The Rainbow Customer Service is awful!!!!! So is their machine! Don't buy from them!",,,,
