I had heard of Donatello's and passed it many times on Dale Mabry but never thought to stop. So glad we did. Started with a bottle of Amarone- best one i've ever had..and a caprese salad. Sis ordered Petto Di Pollo Donatello (a chicken, artichoke and mushroom dish with the most flavorful sauce on top) I went with a waiter's suggestion~a chef's special, grilled shrimp and scallops with sauteed garlic and spinanch with another phenomenal sauce on top! Speaking of waiter's, Carmello was extremely attentive and charming. We recieved incredible service by the entire staff without the stuffiness that usually comes with this level of service. We followed our entrees with homemade tiramisu and mudslides on the rocks. I was so impressed! We also learned they have private dining and look forward to coming back with a large party!
