When we called these guys, we were told that we had parked illegally (he parked in a parking space at the park, and THERE ARE NO SIGNS POSTED prohibiting parking in certain areas) so they were contracted by the park-Canterbury Park- to tow any vehicles not properly parked-although we were not on the street. We were unable to get the truck till the next morning, because the fees would have brought it up to over 300.00 with after hour fees, and we were charged 246.99 the next day just to get it out. Outrageous! When we saw the ticket, they had even put the wrong time on-a full 15 minutes before my son had arrived in the park, so they HAD to have been waiting and watching in the park!!! We complained about it, and they just smiled and said we were one of the """"lucky"""" ones they caught that night!! The other companies we contacted before we found out this was the one said they would never do what these guys did-they have more integrity than that. They called Action Towing a shady business built on greed, and several said that Action Towing has the lowest rating in the Better Business rating because of it. I tend to agree, after my experience with them. Even my insurance company will not do business with them! Wonder why."

The following year, we bought a 1970 R-Model Mack and installed a W45 unit on it, now we were really in the towing business. From then on, every year weve added new equipment. As the times changed, so did we, to ramp trucks, Landon tractor and trailer units, hydraulic wreckers, cranes, boats, large off-road track vehicles, including a hovercraft and front end loaders. We now own the largest factory built wrecker in the country, which is our Ken worth T800 five axle unit with the Jerrycan 85 ton rotator on it. I paid them, as I turned on my truck I notice service lights popping up, she told me it was fine that she was sending a man to my home to reset it that it was safe. As I am going home on frwy my truck rpm started acting crazy and my gears would not shift. My truck started slowing down on the busy freeway, I was able to exit but didn't make it to the light. I had 18 wheelers swearving exiting so the did not hit me. Not safe at all!!! My truck was leaking fluid and was smoking and smelt burnt. I called the shop and she had a wrecker pick my truck up and take it back to the shop. They did not give back my $1000 ded and is holding it till this day. 2 weeks later she said it was a line/hose that busted and leaked fluid and they fixed it and my truck was ready. I went to pick it up and not even driving it for 5 minuets the transmission was slipping. I took it right back to the shop, a week later she says she took my truck to auto nation Chevy dealership. The dealership says my transmission is burnt and no good, I'm still waiting to see the outcome of all this and still with no vehicle and still paying my truck note each month, ridiculous! I told the guy I would be driving from 2 hours from Detroit for it and he said it should be pulled by the time I get there as it is still on the truck. While I was waiting I saw one of their workers walk out with the part I was supposed to get. When I walked in I was told someone must have stolen the part because it was no longer on the truck. After making me drive 2 hours and lying to me they changed their mind on selling the part individually. They decided not to seperate the part from the engine after listing it for sale for 160. They had the worker that I saw come out with the part in his hand remove it from the truck while I was waiting so that they could show me the car without it and said someone stole it from their inventory although it was still in their inventory. Very bad people please dont do business with them as you will regret it. They are very shady and dishonest..I am a man of my word and dont lie to anyone for anything like you punks."
