I am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and the bride found this shop online. Custom bridesmaid dresses were picked out and I had to go to Daytona (2 hours away) in order to get measured. I ordered the dress December 27th and was told it would be delivered in about 2 days. I called a week after paying $15 for it to be shipped and was told it was already in the mail. I received it January 12th and on the post mark it showed that the dress wasn't shipped until January 10th. Once I received my dress it was too large in the breast and torso area. I am a size DD, and I was able to fit another set of my breasts in the chest area. That shows how large it was. I then drove to Daytona again (2 hours one way) to have it altered. Once I got there they had me try on two other dresses. One was the same design as mine but it was too small for my chest. The other one was strapless. It fit but had to be pulled up constantly due to me having large breasts. They suggested taking my dress to their seamstress but said they would not cover the cost even though their measurements were wrong. When I asked for a $15 refund on the shipping since it was sent late and I had to drive 2 hours for the dress anyways, they scoffed and quickly exclaimed that I would in no way be getting any kind of refund and that I was on my own if I were to get the dress altered. I ended up having to take the strapless dress home since we are leaving for the out of state wedding in a few days. Their customer service was lacking and they were unwilling to try and alleviate the situation."

They were late to every meeting we had with them throughout the wedding planning process and had the Bride (me), Groom, and Mother of the Bride waiting outside in the cold for 30 mins a few days before the wedding - I caught a cold because of it and was sick on my wedding day. They didn't have any of the tables or chairs set up for our rehearsal even though that is the only 2 hour window they give you to decorate and LEFT during it so we couldn't even ask them questions. My matron of honor and bridesmaids had to leave while we were all supposed to be having fun getting ready together to go decorate the reception hall the DAY OF THE WEDDING, literally hours before! They even told the Groom that he had to go pick up trash in their house on his WEDDING DAY. They made us pay for servers (even though it was not a requirement in the contract and they openly state that people can use whatever vendors they'd like - see their response to John Doe) who were supposed to be handling the trash. My uncle even had to go find them at one point since they locked us out of the house where all our stuff was and he found them picking flowers in the field while they were supposed to be working. Overall we had amazing vendors for our wedding, but Matt and Farrah weren't one of them. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT recommend using Colonial Estate Weddings."
