Disc brake forces need a different approach to frame design and construction. That's why our Comfort Flex carbon frame is equipped with X12 axles front and rear - they massively increase the frame's stiffness. It's also the reason we opted for a tapered head tube with integrated headset, into which we fitted a CUBE CSL Race carbon fork. To soften the impact of harsh road vibrations, we fitted æro Flex Stays at the rear. They make this uncompromising race machine as sublimely comfortable as it is ruthlessly efficient. There's more to developing a wind-cheating bike than giving it lots of 'æro' shaped tubes. That's why we worked with the development team at Formula One specialists Swiss Side, whose experience in reducing drag proved invaluable in building a new standard in triathlon bikes. Wind tunnel testing helped us to reduce the effects of crosswinds and turbulence, giving the Aerium C:68 SL not just incredible straight line speed but impressive stability out in real world riding conditions, too. Low seatstays help to reduce the frontal area, while the unique slotted head tube acts as a spoiler. We even included food storage and drinking systems into the frame, both of which are accessible without moving from the æro riding position. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful rendition of state-of-the-art carbon technology than our Litening C:68 SLT. By using our most advanced C:68 fibre technology, innovative tube shapes and our Monocoque Advanced Twin Mould production technique we managed both to reduce the weight of the Liteneing C:68 SLT's frame to a sensation new low AND to increase both stiffness and comfort. A contradiction in terms? Not at all - a massive down tube and very stiff bottom bracket area combined with 12mm through axles offer efficient power transfer, while a flattend top tube and slender seat stays improve comfort over long distances. Available in both trapeze and easy entry versions, the Town Hybrid ONE's frame sets new standards for comfort and safety. Starting with a blank sheet of paper, our engineering team located the battery behind the triple chamber seat tube for a more stable feel and better handling. A gravity cast bottom bracket provides a supremely rigid structure in which to house the Bosch motor, and we moved the rear brake to the chainstays to free up room on the seatstays for an easy-to-use lock. Cables are routed internally for minimal maintenance and cleaner looks, and we even used our Smooth Welding process to give the frame a seamless, organic look.

We started with a clean sheet of paper for the 2018 Cross Hybrid ONE. Building on its predecessor's clean looks and easy, neutral handling, our engineers began by moving the powerful battery into a position that improves the bike's overall stability. On both the men's and trapeze frames, it's now incorporated into the sleek down tube and protected from the elements by a custom-designed cover, while the Bosch drive unit is protected by a CUBE bash plate. Hydroforming tube technology allowed us to create an exceptionally light, stiff and stable frame, and we tweaked our popular Efficient Comfort Geometry to ensure that the ride position is ergonomically optimised for long rides and efficient pedalling, but with lively handling that will inspire you to go further. Smooth welds add to the modern appearance and we've even routed cables internally for clean looks and reduced maintenance. .

With years of experience building high tech aluminium frames and working with the Bosch drive units, our engineering team was able to design a sleek new frame for the Acid Hybrid ONE. The stiff, strong hydroformed down tube and bottom bracket enclose the battery and drive unit in an elegantly efficient structure. You can even charge the battery without removing it from the frame, if you wish. The clean appearance is enhanced by details like fully integrated rack and mudguard mounting points, as well as internally routed cables for longer-lasting gear shifting. We even remembered to make it easy to upgrade to a dropper seatpost, just in case your off-road adventures require a future upgrade.

For 2018 we re-thought every aspect of our easy entry Town Hybrid frame. Beginning with the step-through design, we made it easier than ever to use and added a protection sticker at the lowest point to help protect the paintwork from wear and tear. The Bosch drive unit is mounted in an ultra-strong, gravity cast housing and we moved the battery to a position behind the rigid, triple chamber seat tube for easy access and a safer ride. Cables for gears and brakes are routed inside the frame for reduced maintenance, and the clean looks are emphasised with our Smooth Welding process so that the frame tubes flow seamlessly from one to the next.
