Cube Nutrail Pro 2018 - Fatbike
When the road disappears into the clouds or under the snow, that's when you need a bike with special qualities. Keen riders who want to keep the pedals turning whatever the conditions will find a perfect accomplice in the Nutrail Pro. We designed an innovative frame and included a special feature bundle for this trail-ready Fatbike. Fat tyres alone don't make a Fatbike, but our brand new NUTRAIL PRO guarantees unlimited fun.
Frame: It's not enough any more for a Fatbike to simply have the largest possible tyre clearance. But that's a good thing because, when we created the Nutrail, we didn't just want a Fatbike for cruising along snow-covered paths. We also wanted one that's fun to ride on technical terrain, so we integrated our best triple butted, hydroformed HPA tubset in the Nutrail Pro. Combined with the tapered head tube, extra-wide PressFit bottom bracket shell and 197mm wide hub spacing, the Nutrail offers fantastic frame stiffness with very low weight. Our proprietary Agile Ride Geometry ensures the same stable-but-lively handling, whether fully loaded on an expedition or just having a blast out on the trails. Naturally, the frame is built for the special cable routing for Sideswing front derailleurs and a stealth dropper post.
Features: Look for adventure on the Nutrail Pro and you'll find a bike that'll tackle anything you can throw at it. Fatbike-specific features include the 100mm RockShox Bluto RL suspension fork, 80mm Answer Fat Attack wheels and 4.4 inch Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tyres. Reliable gear shifting performance is courtesy of the SRAM X1 11 speed transmission and its wide-ranging 10-42 cassette. We took no risks with the brakes either, opting for the reliable performance of Shimano's BR-M506 hydraulic discs.

Where to start? Given a clean sheet of paper, our engineering team went to town on the new Stereo Hybrid 120. Making use of Bosch's new in-tube battery concept, we began with a one-piece gravity case down tube. Together with the CUBE design motor cover, this sleek backbone encompasses the entire Bosch drive system, protecting it from the elements and trail debris impact while providing a sleek, integrated appearance. A longer head tube and higher bottom bracket improve comfort on long rides and ground clearance respectively, and we even allowed for the additional weight of motor and battery with a custom, more progressive shock setup. Cables are routed internally to keep the appearance as clean as possible - and this frame is ready to accept a Stealth dropper post, too. The whole chassis is incredibly stiff, thanks to the X12 Boost rear end and careful design.

Using the latest e-mtb technology and all the experience gained from building performance aluminium bikes over many years, our engineering team pulled out all the stops for the Stereo Hybrid 160 Action Team. Key to the frame's success is the surprisingly light, supremely rigid, one piece gravity cast down tube. Not only is it the backbone of the bike, anchoring the tapered head tube at one end and the Bosch CX motor's custom housing at the other, it also discretely houses the Bosch Intube battery. An easily removable, splash and dirt-proof cover protects it from the elements, but you don't need to remove it from the frame to charge it. There's even room for a bottle cage. Slim seatstays and a 27.2mm seatpost help ensure you'll stay comfortable for longer, even when you're giving it your all. And internal cable routing keeps gear shifts clean and precise in even the worst riding conditions, as well as reducing the need for maintenance. We also remembered to include cable routing for a dropper post, should you wish to upgrade in the future. We sweated the details, so you can concentrate on the riding.
