A Bit About Me

I was raised here in North West Ohio, and graduated from Sylvania Northview High School in 2000. After graduation I followed my dreams and pursued a career in the highly competitive world of horses. I spent nearly a decade working hard and riding harder, attending shows all across the East Coast. During this time I also traveled abroad to Kenya and Tanzania where I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

After returning to North West Ohio in the spring of 2013, I returned to school. In the fall of 2015 I completed my 4 year degree in business and marketing at Lourdes University in Sylvania. I am very involved in the fundraising efforts that support The Arc of Lucas County and Camp Courageous. I also volunteer my teaching time teaching students about business with Junior Achievement. I am still active in the local equestrian community, ridng my horse Hazeeze and giving occassional lessons. I also participate in many of the area's educational living history events.

I work alongside my mother, Gail Abood who has been serving the region for more than 25 years.
