In 2004, I started an independent video production and media consulting and business branding. I specializing in branding products and services. I have enjoyed working with top companies and colleges, along with such famous people and athletic organizations as the New York Jets and Richard Petty: “The King of NASCAR”. I now bring this experience to real estate vocation.</p><p>(Family History)</p><p>Since the first Calale arrived to the shores of the United States in the 1900’s my great grandfather planted his roots in Cortland County and raised his family and ventured into business, as did my grandfather. My own parents, whom have been great mentors (role models, examples, whichever…) to me, have been community involved their whole lives. My mother, Virginia, sold real estate for over thirty years. She continued on to become an associate broker at Calco Real Estate. My father, Richard Sr., was a math teacher at Cortland Jr. High School for thirty three years, then went in to real estate as and became a broker for his brother, Harry, and Pete Testa at Testa - Calco Real Estate for over twenty seven years. I am very proud of my family roots. </p><p>Their roles in my life have helped me become a better person and father of three, and have showed me the value in one’s community and one’s self-worth. I have taken the torch and will follow in their footsteps.</p><p>Needless to say over the years, I have been fortunate to have experienced many different places and states in which to live, and enjoyed all of them and what they had to offer; however, I always longed for Upstate New York offers a plethora of opportunities. The area supports the arts with theaters and music venues, along with vast recreational facilities, with complement of three local ski areas, numerous golf courses and a selection of Finger Lakes to choose from. One can also take advantage of a wealth of educational facilities such as Cornell University, Ithaca College, Cortland State, Syracuse University as well as Tompkins Cortland Community College.</p><p>Central New York is a great place to live and work.
