B&R Farm Weddings and Events is a rustic wedding venue located in Ohatchee, Alabama. The farm was built in 1986 and began hosting wedding events in 2016. Spanning six acres of farmland, the venue features a three-acre lake stocked with koi fish, lush green landscapes and the 8,800-square-foot barn. Couples and their guests can use the antique horse-drawn equipment and tractor as backdrops for blast-from-the past-themed wedding photos.

Facilities and Capacity
B&R Farm Weddings and Events can accommodate up to 300 guests. The barn features an antique, country-themed general store; a porch decorated with lights; large windows; and two private rooms that can be used as dressing rooms for the couples and their bridal parties while preparing for the wedding. The farm’s outdoor space can be used for wedding ceremonies.

Weddings at the Southern Museum of Flight

Celebrate your new adventure together surrounded by traditional and historic aircraft. Our brand new exhibit space will allow you and your guests a perfect setting for your Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony and Reception. Our South Wing Hangar is capable of seating 200 guests with additional space for your ceremony, entertainment and dancing.

Enjoy free parking, set up of all museum tables (60\" rounds, 8', 6' and 4' rectangular) and chairs. The bride and groom may have pictures made within the museum's F-86 jet and the North American T-6 Texan. We can also schedule engagement photos.

We are a Christian Camp just east of Birmingham off I-20. We offer an open air outdoor pavilion for ceremonies, and beautiful indoor facility that overlooks Lake Chula Vista for receptions. We would love to host your wedding!

The University Club is a Greek Revival style home built in 1834 by James H. Dearing. After a succession of owners and a brief stint as the Governor's Mansion by Governor Arthur Pendleton Bagby, The University of Alabama purchased the home in 1946 after then president, Raymond Paty convinced Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Warner to aid in the acquistion to create a social hub for university faculty and staff.

Today, the University Club is a private dining and special events facility that serves the university community and surrounding Tuscaloosa area.

The West Grove is a rustic wedding venue located in Walnut Grove, Alabama. It specializes in outdoor wedding receptions in a farm setting. The venue believes in offering couples the feel of being with their family on their wedding day.

Oliver's Barn is located in Killen, Alabama, surrounded by lush open fields with rolling hills where nature provides the backdrop for the perfect open air wedding. The property is 3rd generation owned and was once a working farm for growing crops and raising livestock.

Spread over 90 acres, the property offers multiple venue areas. The barn is 3,600 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 150 guests inside. The Bridal Cottage is provided at no additional cost for the bride to relax and prepare for her special day with her bridesmaids. Restroom facilities are included.

This farm was Oliver \"Junior\" Alexander's favorite place where he worked his whole life doing what he loved. Oliver passed away in 2008 and the barn went untouched for years. Until his daughter, Sherry Kirk, could not stand the thought of letting a place where so many family memories were made go to waste. So, she completely renovated the barn and put months of hard work into the property so others can make their own new special memories.

Cove Acre Farms is a beautiful, rustic farm located in Hokes Bluff, Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a creek that flows year-round on the property. The barn is available for weddings, rehearsals, reunions, and many other events as well.

The barn is approximately 12,000 square feet under roof, with two open balconies giving an extra 950 square feet. The barn features bride and groom rooms with private baths in each area.

You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. For an indoor wedding, the barn offers a large room downstairs, with a beautiful wooden dance floor on the second story along with a stage. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or alongside the creek.

The Carraway Davie House was built in 1972 as the residence of the family of Dr. Clayton Davie, a Birmingham neurosurgeon. In 1979, Dr. Davie donated this remarkable home to the Carraway Methodist Medical Center to be used for hosting events such as corporate conferences, weddings, and Christmas parties. In 2002 Corretti, Inc. acquired the property and currently hosts a variety of corporate and social events. It provides catering for events held at the Carraway Davie House as well as offsite functions.

The Carraway Davie House is a unique blend of past and present containing many architectural elements salvaged from historic Alabama landmarks, placing the house on the Historical Registry. Several of the architectural features were a part of the old Terminal Station in downtown Birmingham, including the front door with its lavendar glass, marble tiles on the first floor, library fireplace, and two-ton cast-iron chandelier in the two-story den. An elaborate, gilt-trimmed mirror that once hung in the historic Tutwiler Hotel now hangs in the main foyer of the house.

Exterior brick came from the old Birmingham Paper Company, dating from the turn of the last century. The six columns on the portico are hand-hewn cypress logs that date back to 1850. They were originally part of Talledega's Presbyterian Female Collegiate Institute.

The Carraway Davie House also features a large reception space in the Conference Center located behind the house. Thanks to a flexable design, guests can enjoy the entire property or smaller spaces to suit the size of the event, including use of the lovely poolside patio. The large reception room is ideal for seated dinners and features a stage perfect for a band. The poolside patio is a festive area sittlng atop a Cahaba River hillside, and the pool features splashing fountains.

Located at 217 North Montgomery in Downtown Sheffield, Alabama. Specializing in corporate functions, weddings and private parties accommodating 65 to 300 people. Offering the complete package with a full service kitchen, bar, tables, linens & dinnerware in an elegant setting.

George’s 217 is owned and operated by Frank Vafinis, the 2nd generation of George’s Steak Pit which was founded in the mid 1950 ’s by George and Vangie Vafinis . Known for “The BEST Steaks in The South”, one of their secrets to success is the famous open pit. Grilling freshly cut steaks, chicken and fresh fish over hickory logs assures you a taste sensation you will not soon forget. Combined with an extensive wine list, delicious homemade desserts and courteous, professional service in an elegant setting, creating a dining atmosphere that will bring you back again and again.

After years of hosting parties up to 65 people on site and catering larger events off premises, Mr. Vafinis decided to expand operations. He purchased the Old Belk Department Store in Downtown Sheffield. After extensive renovations, the building offers a 3500 square foot ballroom, appointed with the original hardwood floors, exposed brick, crystal chandeliers, and detailed woodwork. The ballroom accommodates up to 300 people and may be divided for smaller parties. The lobby mimics the restaurant with a full service bar and detailed woodwork that opens to the front veranda. A courtyard in the back allows for open air gatherings perfect for cocktail parties and smaller receptions.

Every step has been taken to ensure the perfect place for events including onsite suites that step out to the courtyard, ideal for bridal and groom parties or corporate guests.

Situated on 49 acres in the heart of North Alabama, Meadow Creek Farm provides the perfect backdrop for romance and celebrations. The Meadow Creek Farm wedding package offers a magical experience exclusively for you, your family and friends at a premier event venue. The barn provides a private and spacious dressing area for bridal parties, a gentleman's loft and a full catering kitchen. The two-acre pond and pavilion are just a couple more reasons why Meadow Creek Farm is one of the top wedding venues in the state. The barn will host up to 250 guests for your wedding event and is the perfect place to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Our goal in designing the venue space was to build something with great detail that would only enhance the beautiful scenery and feeling of the property. We wanted to balance the feeling of grandeur with intimacy, rustic with elegant, and timeless with modern.

Our timber frame structure (or barn, as it is commonly called) will seat 180 guests comfortably while still having room for other necessary event details like food stations, cake tables, entertainment space, etc. We offer a kitchen equipped with food prep areas, refrigeration, warming space and an icemaker. We have seating for up to 225, for seated dinners and/or additional seating outdoors.

Tables, ballroom chairs and linens are all provided for the reception area as well as church pews and folding chairs for outdoor use.

Overlooking the hills is a covered porch that extends the entire length of the barn. This multi-purpose space will welcome guests from the parking area to the ceremony areas, can serve as a cocktail hour area before entering the ballroom area and can also be used as an inclement weather area if your ceremony should need to be moved indoors.

The bride to be and her bridal party have the luxury of utilizing the loft for the entire day for hair and make up and getting dressed. With over 1,000 square feet of open space, two dressing rooms and a full bathroom you can relax and enjoy your day with plenty of space and comfort.

The Eclectic Warehouse wedding venues are centered on a beautiful and historic event facility located in Eclectic, Alabama: The Warehouse on Main. Built in 1928, the former cotton gin and warehouse is a 10,000 square-foot building located on 1.5 acres of outdoor event space. It has been hosting weddings and special events since 2001. The facility has been dedicated to sacred cermonies, family fun, and rural values by the propreitor, whose family has owned the land since the 1880's. The warehouse features massive timbers, high ceilings, red brick walls, and plenty of grassy lawn areas, providing couples with rural comfort and an Old South aesthetic. Recently upgraded with 33 tons of cooling and heating systems and other amenities, the venue balances its rustic country charm with elegant and modern touches. Comfortable and climate controled, it can also act as an open pavilion with its 12 foot doors (5 large doors) open. It provides rain-date-certainty if your outdoor event needs weather protection. • The Warehouse on Main: The 10,000-square-foot multi-purpose venue has several event spaces. It is intimate for 60 guests and can accommodate up to 400 guests. The Sycamore Courtyard is The Warehouse's outdoor lawn area and is ideal for ceremonies, relaxing moments, and cocktail hours. The Warehouse also has a 2,000 square-foot lighted outdoor deck. There are also procession areas for sparkler exits and glamourous entrances. The Warehouse amenities include the bride's room, stage, lighting, drapes, bathrooms, and private kitchen.
• The Harden Building: This 4,000 square-foot facility is available for family reunions, dinners and parties.

• Pond Cabin: This is a charming rustic cabin built from timber and stone from the site, which overlooks a 70 year-old pond. It is available for use as a groom's retreat, bridal suite, or for the first night of your Honeymoon.
• Music Barn: adjacent to the Pond Cabin is a 1,600 square foot open-sided barn. It is for wide-open family fun. It has tiered outside seating for intimate music events and perfomances.
• The Eclectic Woodlands: Developed along a meandering stream with meadows, ponds, and woodlands is our outdoor wedding amphitheater. Amenities include many photogenic settings, underground electical, permanent bathroom, tent-field, ample parking, procession area and outdoor wedding sanctuary.
• Treasure Cove: Our Lake Martin cabin sits on 600 feet of Lake Martin waterfront. Enjoy its Year around deep water, peirs, wooded lot, lawns, flowers, lighted volleyball court, stone fire circle and the deep beauty of Alabama. It sleeps eight. Perfect for small gatherings of 30 people or less.
